The most-requested design in the studio
If you have seen tooth gems on your feed, this is almost certainly the one. Crystal butterflies on the front tooth book out faster than anything else we place.

Designer-inspired styles
Metallic logo and monogram-style gems are some of the most-requested looks in the studio after butterflies — they read boldly in photos and sit just as flush as a round crystal.
These are applied exactly the same way: surface-bonded, no drilling, and removable whenever you want a change. Bring a reference photo and we will talk through what will actually work on your tooth shape and spacing.

How your appointment works
About 10 minutes start to finish. Nothing about it is invasive, and there is no numbing or recovery.
Pick your gem
Choose a color, shape and placement. Bring inspo photos — most people do.
Prep & isolate
The tooth is cleaned, dried and isolated. Moisture control is what makes a gem last.
Bond & cure
Dental-grade adhesive, then a curing light to set it. This is the part that takes the skill.
Walk out sparkling
No downtime. Skip hard or sticky foods for 24 hours and you're set.
Sizes & what actually shows
We place two sizes. 1.8mm reads as a delicate accent and works well on smaller teeth, lateral incisors, or stacked designs. 2.2mm is the more requested size — bolder, more visible in photos, and the standard choice for a single statement gem.
Not sure? We will hold both against your tooth before anything is bonded. Nothing is permanent until you say yes.
Ten crystal colors are available in studio, plus shaped gems and custom multi-gem layouts.
Pricing
Our 30-day guarantee. If your gem falls out within 30 days of placement, we replace it free. No argument, no receipt hunting — just book a slot and come back in.
We can offer that because retention is a technique problem, not a luck problem. If one of ours comes off early, that is on our bonding, and we would rather fix it than have you wondering whether tooth gems just don't work.
Also included either way: your consultation, placement, curing and aftercare instructions. No separate consult fee — if you decide not to go ahead, you don't pay.
Planning a specific design? Call us at (862) 400-7279 before you book so we can confirm we have it in stock. Shaped and logo-style gems move quickly, and we would rather tell you now than at your appointment.
One thing we don't do: we do not place gems on veneers or crowns. The adhesive is designed to grip natural enamel and does not hold reliably on porcelain — so rather than take your money for something likely to fail, we say no up front.
Is it safe?
Yes, when it is done properly — and "properly" is the operative word. A tooth gem is bonded to the outside surface of the enamel with dental adhesive. Nothing is drilled. Nothing is removed from your tooth. When you want it gone, a trained tech releases the bond and the tooth underneath is unchanged.
The problems people read about online almost always trace back to two things: craft or nail glue used instead of dental-grade adhesive, or aggressive DIY removal. Neither happens here. If you want the full breakdown, we wrote one: are tooth gems safe?
Questions before you book
How long do tooth gems last?
Commonly 4–6 months, often longer with good aftercare. Wear time depends on placement, bite pressure, and habits like grinding or biting hard foods. If yours comes off early, come see us — that usually points to something in the bonding we can do better next time. More detail in our guide to how long tooth gems last.
Does it hurt?
No. There is no drilling, no needle and no numbing. You will feel the tooth being cleaned and dried, and that is about it. Most people are surprised by how uneventful it is.
How much does a tooth gem cost in Clifton?
$75 per gem, or $75 per design for shaped styles like hearts, crosses and logo gems. A butterfly spans two teeth and is still one design price. Call ahead for special or custom designs so we can confirm availability.
Can I eat and brush normally?
Yes — after the first 24 hours. Skip hard, crunchy and sticky foods that first day while the bond fully settles, then brush and floss as usual. Just be gentle directly over the gem. See our full tooth gem aftercare guide.
Can I take it off later?
Yes. Tooth gems are non-permanent by design. A trained tech removes it cleanly without damaging enamel. Please do not pick at it yourself — DIY removal is where most enamel complaints actually come from.
What if my tooth gem falls out?
If it comes out within 30 days of placement, we replace it free — just book a slot and come in. After 30 days it's a normal replacement. Early loss almost always points to something in the bonding or isolation, which is our job to get right, so we'd genuinely rather you come back than write off tooth gems altogether.
Can I get a tooth gem on a veneer or crown?
No — we don't place gems on veneers or crowns. Tooth gem adhesive is formulated to bond to natural enamel, and it does not hold reliably on porcelain. We would rather turn the appointment down than place something that fails in a week. If you have veneers on some teeth and natural enamel on others, come in and we will look. If you are in active orthodontic treatment, check with your orthodontist first.
Can I bring my own design idea?
Please do. Most people arrive with a screenshot. Bring it and we will match it or adapt it to your tooth shape and spacing.
